Free speech

John O' Sullivan CBE has an article on the right to free speech, and who is attacking it in Canada, America, and Britain today.

'They died to defend freedom' reads the Second World War plaque on a stone cairn in the Anglosphere.

It does not read 'They died so you could speak freely about only those things that don't hurt or offend anyone else'.

Hearing what people say can hurt.

Dialogue with it, dismiss or defy it, and deliver your own ideas to us.
