Canadian history

It's a good history, writes Conrad Black -

We have had no revolts because we did not provoke them, no pogroms or race riots because no one wished or would submit to them. We fought only just wars, only voluntarily, always bravely, always on the good and winning side and never with each other. . .

The strength of Canada is that it is a huge treasure chest of natural resources inhabited by fewer people than Greater Tokyo (which has 34 million people), who have flourished under adapted British political traditions and a benign American military umbrella.

Black has ideas about what Canada could do.
