Bubbles
William Alpert wrote an article on the coming Bubble - Why is there a remarkable stock market rally in the midst of the worst recession (depression) since 1930? In response, Gerry C quoted one of our heroes, Adam Smith -
One should head the warnings of Adam Smith. In his 'Wealth of Nations' he says: . . .The economy with the highest profits is the one going to ruin the fastest.
Bubble is an odd word for a disaster. Makes a person think of children blowing bubbles, when actually it's about almost everyone's house falling down.

A bit too generous!
In an egalitarian society give all politicians, civil servants & local government employees the same benefits only as that received by old age pensioners.
