Remember the Iranian people

We continue to link to events in Iran because the Iranian people have begged the world not to forget them.

Defying threats, violent beatings and murder, they have held a huge strike and gone out once again into the streets. Michael Ledeen has the story.

The head of the thugs is said to be the Supreme Leader's son, Mojtaba Khamenei. He may be particularly enraged that the British Government has frozen more than a billion dollars in London accounts, "at least some of which belongs to him." If so, he is labouring under the mistaken assumption that the money he stole from the Iranian people is his.

Thanks to Instapundit for the link.

It is good to hear that the UK took that step and, further, that apparently the intelligence agencies are monitoring these large bank transfers. I could well imagine that if and when this throughly corrupt and evil regime is deposed, the Iranian people will be seeking a return of most of the funds now being sent overseas.
