Thanking those who risk their lives for us
Young men and women willingly decide to defend us by serving in the Armed Forces.
We elect the representatives who decide to send those men and women into harm's way.
The duty of our soldiers is to obey our representatives. Our responsibility is to remove those elected representatives if they have erred.
Whatever we may feel about decisions taken by our representatives -
the least we can do for those risking their lives for us is to honour and thank them.
Athos of Chronicles of Atlantis has sent us a link to a post that tells us there are people who honour and thank British soldiers.
Joseph Pearce's post is also the story of a little girl who loves her father.
