Britain not in map of Europe
As my mother was Czech, I am very glad to see the Czechs get it right (again) -
Britain appears nowhere in the modern art sculpture map of Europe created by artist David ?erny for the European Union.
The EU has shown an unremarkable lack of humour about the piece.
Complaints about the installation were discussed on Wednesday afternoon by Coreper - the EU's powerful and secretive committee of national "permanent representatives".
Milena Vicenová, the Czech Permanent Representative, told Coreper -
"Having spent 50 years behind the Iron Curtain we appreciate freedom of expression", she said (roughly).
Along with Englishman's Castle we believe that the sentence was meant to read, she said bluntly.
Bluntly or roughly, we like it.

Ms. Vicenová is blunt and bold and I applaud her for it but she may be spitting into an ill wind. There’s more than humor lacking in the EU.
