Nano carrots may combat global warming

Extracting nano fibres found in carrots and combining them with hi-tech resins, two scientists from Fife have created a material that can be moulded into items as big and tough as a battleship and as light and sturdy as a fishing rod.

The Guardian reports that inventors David Hepworth and Eric Whale call their material Curran, and believe it can be used as a green alternative to glass and carbon fibre.

People are worried about global warming. Here's betting the innovation we need is already underway, and will be forthcoming. Nano carrots and bunches of other things.
