British theatre revivals in the New York Times

We don’t care much for the New York Times’ editorial page or political reporting, but their Arts and Lesiure section is often appealingly populated with Brits. Yesterday, the Times featured Edwardian playwright Granville Barker, whose theatre work early in the 20th century continues to have enormous impact on the quality of stage production, and a film adaptation (the third) of Somerset Maugham’s novel Painted Veil.
